What should I do before I travel?
Before you travel, make sure you will be staying no longer than 90 days; stays beyond 90 days require a visa. Carry either your ordinary Czech passport or your Czech national identity card.
Although not required for entry, arrange travel insurance if you want cover for medical costs or trip problems. Prepare proof of your return flight and your hotel booking, and have evidence of sufficient funds for the stay in case border officials ask to see them.
What happens at the border?
On arrival, you may be asked by the border officer to show your passport or national identity card. Officers may also request proof of sufficient funds for the stay, a return flight, and proof of hotel booking.
There is no arrival registration or entry card to complete on entry to Italy from Czechia.
