Poland to Solomon Islands

A Polish national identity card, a driving licence and a temporary passport are not accepted for entry to the Solomon Islands; you must travel on a passport that meets the passport-validity rule.

You will not be asked to show proof of funds on this route; official guidance states no proof of funds is required for Polish tourists.

There is no arrival card or online entry registration to complete for this route; entry is handled on arrival without a separate arrival-registration process.

No vaccinations are mandatory for entry to the Solomon Islands. It is recommended you consult vaccination guidance before travel and follow local public-health advice such as food and water precautions.

Travel insurance is recommended for your trip but it is not a condition of entry to the Solomon Islands.

If your passport has less than six months’ validity from the date you plan to enter the Solomon Islands, it will not meet the entry requirement; the passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the date of entry.

A single visit for tourism may last up to 90 days; the exemption does not permit paid work or activities of an employment nature.

Children need the same accepted travel document as adults: a passport that satisfies the six‑month validity rule. No parental-consent letters or extra notarised papers are required for travellers under 18.

If you need consular help, Poland has no diplomatic or consular post in the Solomon Islands. Consular matters for the Solomon Islands are handled by the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Sydney, Australia; local direct consular assistance on the islands may be limited.

Follow usual travel practice: carry your passport in your hand luggage for check‑in and border control, and keep copies (digital or paper) in case the original is lost. A badly damaged or defaced passport risks refusal of boarding or entry.

Health advice from official sources recommends consulting your national health authority about vaccinations and special precautions if you are pregnant or planning pregnancy; also follow local guidance on eating cooked food and drinking boiled or bottled water.

Transit rules are not covered on this route. Check the entry requirements of any country you transit through, as some transit airports or countries may require a visa or travel authorisation even if the Solomon Islands do not.

The tourist visa exemption allows stays up to 90 days in any 180‑day period for Polish citizens; make sure each trip you plan fits within that limit.

If your passport is nearly full of stamps or visas, you must still present a passport that meets the six‑month validity rule; ensure you have sufficient blank pages and overall validity before travel.
