Travellers under 18 must travel with a notarised letter of parental consent.
You must obtain an electronic visa (e-visa) applied for online in advance. The e-visa can be obtained either online or through an Iraqi embassy or consulate; Iraq maintains diplomatic representation in Ukraine so you can apply without leaving the country.
Make sure your ordinary passport is valid for at least six months beyond your date of entry. Have travel insurance in place, because travel insurance is a condition of entry to Iraq.
On arrival, immigration officers may ask to see your passport, your electronic visa and proof of travel insurance. You may also be asked to show evidence of sufficient funds for your stay and proof of a return or onward flight.
No arrival registration or entry card is required.
