Travellers under 18 must carry a notarised letter of parental consent when travelling to the Maldives.
You must obtain an electronic visa (e-visa) applied for online in advance. The e-visa is the permission required for your trip to the Maldives. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your date of entry. A passport is the accepted travel document.
Arrival registration is required online and at the border. The online arrival registration is done at https://imuga.immigration.gov.mv/.

On arrival you will complete arrival registration and present your documents to border officials. You may be asked to show sufficient funds for your stay, proof of a return flight, and proof of a hotel booking. Have your passport and your granted e-visa available for inspection.
