Poland to Palestine

Polish travellers must hold an approved electronic travel authorisation (ETA) before departure. The ETA is applied for online and is normally granted in minutes to hours; it is not a visa.

You must travel on a valid passport or a temporary passport. A Polish national identity card and a driving licence are not accepted for entry on this route.

Your passport must be valid for at least 180 days from the date of entry.

You are not required to show proof of funds; travellers on this route will not be asked to present money or bank statements as a condition of entry.

Minors under 18 only need one of the accepted travel documents (passport or temporary passport); no additional parental-consent letters or notarised permissions are required.

There is no separate arrival registration or paper entry card required on arrival for this route.

You apply for the ETA online; there is no in-person application route. The Palestinian consular office in the Polish consular district is available for consular help but not as the application portal for the ETA.

The ETA’s validity varies by case; there is no single stated fixed validity period you can rely on for all travellers.

The entry and stay on this route are subject to Israeli immigration controls and entry is usually via Israel or by land from Jordan. If your main purpose is a visit to the Palestinian territories you should check the entry route requirements in advance.

If Israeli border authorities record that you have overstayed permitted time, this may be treated as illegal stay and can lead to refusal of entry on future visits.

Short-term entry to the Palestinian territories is regulated by an ETA (named ETA-IL) and entry and exit through Israel’s checkpoints is controlled by Israeli authorities; plan your route and checks accordingly.

If the primary purpose of your trip is to visit Palestinian territories, entry rules differ and access to the West Bank from Israel may be limited; in some cases entry to the West Bank is possible only via Jordan’s King Hussein/Allenby Bridge.

If your passport is damaged or close to expiry so that it does not meet the 180-day validity rule, you risk being refused boarding or entry; travel on a passport that meets the stated validity.

There is no separate entry fee or tourist tax recorded as a requirement for entry on this route in the official guidance.
